This Refund Policy ("Policy") applies to all purchases made on the SafeTrip platform, operated by SAFETRIP TRAVEL AND CONSULTANCY LIMITED under the brand “Hema” ("SafeTrip", "Hema", "we", "us").
This Policy should be read together with our Terms of Use.
1. GENERAL PRINCIPLES
SafeTrip provides digital legal-support services, including AI-based assistance, document analysis, operator coordination, and access to legal professionals.
Due to the instant nature of digital services, refunds depend on whether and how the service has been used.
We aim to apply a fair and transparent refund approach, while complying with applicable consumer protection laws, including Turkish distance-contract regulations where applicable.
2. 14-DAY WITHDRAWAL RIGHT (CONSUMERS)
If you are a consumer, you may have a 14-day right of withdrawal from your purchase without providing a reason, as required by applicable consumer law.
However:
2.1 Immediate service activation
When purchasing a SafeTrip plan, you may be asked to confirm that:
- the service will start immediately; and
- your withdrawal right may be reduced or lost once the service begins.
2.2 Effect of usage
If you start using the service during the 14-day period:
- refunds may be reduced proportionally based on usage;
- or may be unavailable if the service has been fully delivered.
3. REFUND SCENARIOS
3.1 Full refund (eligible)
You are eligible for a full refund if:
- the service has not been activated; AND
- no AI consultation has been used; AND
- no documents have been uploaded; AND
- no support or escalation has been initiated.
3.2 Partial refund
A partial refund may be provided if:
- the service has been activated; BUT
- only limited usage has occurred.
In such cases, SafeTrip may deduct:
- AI usage value
- document processing
- operator time
- transaction or payment fees (where applicable)
3.3 No refund
Refunds may not be available if:
- the service has been substantially used;
- a legal case has been initiated;
- a lawyer has been engaged or assigned;
- urgent or on-site support has been triggered;
- the service has been fully delivered.
4. SUBSCRIPTIONS
4.1 Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time.
Cancellation:
- stops future renewals;
- does NOT refund the current active period.
4.2 Renewal charges
If your subscription renews automatically, charges are non-refundable once the new billing period begins, unless required by law.
5. PAY-PER-CASE AND LEGAL SERVICES
Fees related to:
- lawyer consultations
- case handling
- urgent assistance
- on-site legal support
may be subject to separate terms.
Once a lawyer begins work, such services are generally non-refundable.
6. BUSINESS (B2B) PURCHASES
For travel agencies, companies, or partners:
- purchases are non-refundable once activated;
- custom packages and allocated capacity cannot be cancelled;
- unless otherwise agreed in writing.
7. PAYMENT METHODS AND FEES
Refunds will be processed using the original payment method where possible.
Please note:
- card payments may take several business days;
- crypto payments may be subject to:
- network fees;
- wallet address accuracy;
- market fluctuations;
- processing fees may be non-refundable where legally permitted.
8. HOW TO REQUEST A REFUND
To request a refund, contact us at:
Include:
- your account email
- transaction details
- reason for request
We may request additional information to process your request.
9. PROCESSING TIME
If your refund is approved:
- it will be processed within 14 days;
- actual receipt depends on your payment provider.
10. CHARGEBACKS
Before initiating a chargeback, please contact us first.
We reserve the right to dispute chargebacks where:
- services were provided;
- terms were accepted;
- fraud or misuse is suspected.
11. LEGAL RIGHTS
Nothing in this Policy limits your mandatory rights under applicable law.
If local law provides stronger consumer protections, those rights will prevail.
